<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily replace an imaging processor of an image forming apparatus and to enable the equipment to always operate under conditions suitable to an operation environment even after the replacement. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging processor loaded in an image forming apparatus body detachably for replacement in an imaging processor group has transmitting means 81 to 84 of sending equipment information including its identification information (ID) and the image forming apparatus body has a receiving means 70 of receiving the equipment information; a communication means 606 of the image forming apparatus body has a function of transmitting the equipment information that the receiving means 70 receives to a managing server 500 through the Internet and receiving equipment energizing information that the managing server sends in response to the equipment information; and an image formation control means 630 and 131 store the equipment energizing information that the communication means 606 receive in memories HDD and 132 and energize the imaging process equipment according to the equipment energizing information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
