PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial inner ear simultaneously realizing a lower power consumption and a high resolution. SOLUTION: The artificial inner ear has a fishbone sensor 21 equipped with a plurality of resonators resonating with voices of mutually different frequencies and converts the vibrations of the resonators to signals corresponding to the vibration levels. An amplifying circuit 22 amplifies signals converted by the fishbone sensor 21 at a prescribed amplification factor and supplies an external switching circuit 23. The external switching circuit 23 switches the supply routes of signals and sequentially sends signals supplied through an external antenna 24. An internal switching circuit 32 switches the supply routes of signals and sequentially supplies the signal sent through the internal antenna 31 to a plurality of electrodes 4a and stimulates the cochlea nerves.
