RESIN COMPOSITION FOR AUTOMOTIVE PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for automotive parts having excellent mechanical strength properties and flowability and producing a molded product exhibiting a good metallic appearance. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a polypropylene resin composition and an aluminum flake pigment. A composition comprising a crystalline propylene-ethylene block copolymer, an elastomeric polymer and an inorganic filler is used as the polypropylene resin composition. An aluminum flake having the surface coated with a polymer containing acrylic acid, an acrylic ester, an epoxidized polybutadiene and divinylbenzene as constituent units is used as the aluminum flake pigment.
