The agricultural spray atomizer has a diffusion surface (30) positioned in a gas flow (26) and on which a liquid can flow downwardly towards a ridge (32) at which the liquid forms droplets carried by the gas flow. The diffusion surface is rotated and can be conical or frusto-conical. The diffusion surface can be rotated by the action of the gas flow. An Independent claim is also included for an agricultural vehicle using the atomizer.
