PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume compound which is stable for a long time in an acidic liquid detergent which is adjusted to an acidic state, especially to a pH of 2.0-3.0, with an organic acid and used for a hard object surface; and a perfume composition containing the same. SOLUTION: The perfume composition contains at least one perfume compound selected from 2,6-dimethyl-2-heptanol, 3,3'-dimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone, o-t-butylcyclohexanol,α-amylcinnamaldehyde,α-damascone,γ-octalactone,γ-nonalactone,γ-decalactone, anethole, ethyl benzoate, ethyl 2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexanecarboxylate, 2,6,6-trimethyl-1-crotonylcyclohexane, 7-acetyl-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-1,1,6,7-tetramethylnaphthalene, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
