PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road information distribution system whose system construction can be inexpensively executed, and to spread communication terminal equipment to be used for this system. SOLUTION: Communication terminal equipment 11 mounted on a sensor vehicle 1 functioning as a road information sensor transmits acquired sensor information through a portable telephone packet communication network 3 to a control center 4. The control center 4 generates road information based on the received sensor information or the like, and transmits the road information through the portable telephone packet communication network 3 or the Internet 5 to a sensor vehicle 1 and a non-sensor vehicle 2 in accordance with a road information request.
