PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to pressurize and expose by using an existing exposure table in the manufacturing method of a cathode-ray tube, in particular, in the manufacture of a fluorescent screen. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises a process in which a panel 13 is pressurized and deformed from the outside toward inside by a required pressure equivalent to vacuum deformation and the panel 13 in the state of deformation is placed on the exposure table 12 and exposure is made on the photosensitive coating film coated on the inner face of the panel.
