发明名称 METHOD FOR LUBRICATION OF MACHINE ELEMENT PARTS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lubrication of machine element parts such as a rolling bearing, joint or the like used in a boundary lubricating condition such as low speed, under high load and high temperature. SOLUTION: The method comprises a previous or in the use formation of a silica coating film on contact faces of the machine element parts such as rolling contact surfaces of the rolling bearing or mating faces of the joint or the like. The coating achieves prolongation of service life of the rolling bearing and the joint by preventing wearing and fatigue damage of the contact faces such as the rolling contact surfaces or mating faces or the like by thickly forming the lubricating film and stably inhibiting metal contact. The silica coating is preferably formed by previous vacuum deposition or coating and sintering of silica on the contact faces such as the rolling contact faces or the mating faces or the like, or forming by using a lubricant containing ultrafine particle silica with average particle diameter of≤40 nm and further a polymer, in a base oil or base grease. The viscosity of a lubricating oil composing the base oil or base grease is preferably reduced and this improves supplying performance of the lubricant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
