PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding tea plucking machine for middle cutting enabling smooth discharge of cut twig scrap of tea tree plucked with a shredding apparatus to a side of a tea ridge. SOLUTION: The riding tea plucking machine for middle cutting is provided with a traveling device 3 to travel between tea ridges by using an engine as a power source, a shredder 4 to pluck the tea tree and placed at the front end of the riding body 1 and a transporting apparatus 40 to transport cut twig scraps. The transporting apparatus 40 is composed of a screw auger 41 to transport the cut twig scrap cut with the shredder 4 to a side of the tea ridge and a discharging part 44 placed at the transporting end of the screw auger 41. A means 45 for scattering the cut twig scrap is attached to the rotary shaft 42 of the screw auger 41 placed close to the discharging part 44. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
