PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine in which a facsimile document received at each address is transferred automatically to a previously registered mail address. SOLUTION: The facsimile 1 comprises a section 7 for previously storing a mail address in correspondence with the destination information of a facsimile document, a section 8 for storing the information concerning to the destination of a received facsimile document being transferred, a section 5 for detecting the address information of the facsimile document from the facsimile document when it is received, a section 9 for comparing the address information thus acquired with the destination information stored at the destination information storing section 8, and an automatic transferring section 11 for transferring the received facsimile document to the mail address stored in the address storing section 7 in correspondence with the destination information if the the address information matches the destination information.
