PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently drain remaining water without providing an auxiliary leakage water drain pipe even in idling operation. SOLUTION: A drain promoting/restricting part 21 is provided which consists of a drain promoting wall 22 for promoting the residing water to flow into the water leakage drain pipe 15 by interrupting the flow of the residing water produced when a runner runs idle in the rotating direction of a waterturbine, and a drain restricting wall 23 for restricting the flow of water between a guide vane and a runner chamber into the water leakage drain pipe 15 when the runner does not run idle. An opening portion 14 of the water leakage drain pipe 15 is formed on the bottom side of the drain promoting/restricting part 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
