摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paint composition for forming a surface projecting and recessing layer 2 provided under the reflection layer 3 of a reflective or semitransmissive liquid crystal display device or forming a light diffusion layer provided above the reflection layer 3, a paint composition with which a projecting and recessing shape can be simply formed on a coating film surface and which has excellent adhesiveness to the reflection layer 3.

SOLUTION: The paint composition contains: first and second resins having similar skeletal structures and functional groups different from each other and reacting with each other; and cross-linking resin particles mixed together, and it is characterized in that phase separation takes place between the first and second resins after application and drying.
