摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the unburned gas concentration near a furnace opening by effectively utilizing the force of a cyclone to perfectly combust a material to be burned without increasing a furnace height in incineration of the mixture of sludge and sediment, which contains moisture at a high rate and wherein moisture fluctuation is large, to restrict discharge of the harmful gas such as dioxin group, and to reduce the installation cost. SOLUTION: In this circulation type fluidized bed furnace, materials to be burned and the fluidized sand are mixed with each other for combustion in a freeboard space formed over a riser, into which the secondary air is led from a position on the furnace wall of the riser, and the fluidized sand sprung up from the riser and the exhaust gas (containing scattering ash) are separated by a cyclone, and returned into the riser through a seal pot. Height H of a straight barrel part of the cyclone is set in relation to diameter D of the straight barrel part so that H/D becomes 1.2 or more, and staying time hs of the cyclone is set in relation to the freeboard staying time hf so that hs/hf becomes 80-200% or more.
