PURPOSE: A method for treating waste material from a heating furnace is provided to exhaust air, moisture and gas residual in the waste material by deriving a vacuum condition in the heating furnace by using over-heated water vapor to form substantial vacuum status for carbonizing the waste material. CONSTITUTION: The method is conducted by an apparatus comprising an entering port(11) on center portion of top side; a discharging port(12) on center portion of bottom side; a heating furnace(10) having an exhaust hole(13), a manometer(P) and a gas outlet(14); a supporting duct(20) perpendicular to the heating furnace(10), having top end(21) independent to the entering port(11) and isolating from bottom side of the heating furnace; a guidance(30) mounted on outer peripheral side of the supporting duct(20); a conveyor(40) mounted through the supporting duct(20); a heating pipe(50), a water vapor supplying duct(60) and a cooling pipe(70).
