The manual bottle-opener has a housing with an inside opening into which the rotary closure piece fits. The inner opening causes the housing to tilt in relation to the rotary closure-piece inside the opening. The housing consists of at least two elements (11) and at least one straight guide (12) enabling the at least two elements to move on a plane at right angles to the bottle's axis. The housing has a sprung arrangement which presses the at least two elements along the linear guides. The inside of the inner opening has teeth (15).the guides are formed by protuberances fitting into grooves (14)
