<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mobile phone which has a sliding-type structure where a large display unit is loaded and a display part is protected and whose operability is improved by associating various functions with a sliding operation. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding-type mobile phone set is provided with a main case having a display part and an input operation part, a first movable case which has a transmission part and which is freely slidably engaged with an upper part of the main case and a second movable case which has a reception part and which is freely slidably engaged with a lower part of the main case. When the first movable case and the second movable case are degenerated to be in a closed state, for example, the first and second movable cases cover whole faces of the display part and the input operation part in the main case. When a stretch detection means detects stretch of the first movable case or the second movable case, it performs a prescribed function and performs a prescribed adjusting function attached to the prescribed function performed by first stretch when stretch of the other movable case is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
