Washing compositions for textile goods, e.g. viscose rayon, comprise a synthetic detergent, e.g. lauryl, myristyl or cetyl sulphate, or soap, an inorganic peroxidic textile bleaching compound, e.g. sodium perborate, and as activator a hydrazine derivative of the general formula <FORM:1046251/C4-C5/1> in which the two adjacent nitrogen atoms are components of a heterocyclic ring and R is a lower alkyl radical with 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical. 1 mol of the hydrazine derivative per mol of active oxygen in the peroxidic compound is preferably used. Suitable hydrazine derivatives are N-acetylmaleic hydrazide, N - propionylmaleic hydrazide, N - benzoyl maleic hydrazide, N-acetyl phthalic hydrazide, N-benzoylphthalic hydrazide, 1-phenyl-3,5-diimino tetra-acetyl-1,2,4-triazolidine, diacetyl-3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, N-acetyl triazole, diacetyl urazole, 1-acetyl-3-methylpyrazol-5-one, diacetyl indazolone and triacetyl-3-ureido-5-phenyltriazole. The composition may also contain sodium pyrophosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate and water glass.ALSO:A bleaching composition for textile goods, e.g. viscose rayon, comprises an inorganic peroxidic texture bleaching compound, e.g. sodium perborate, and as activator a hydrazine derivative of the general formula <FORM:1046251/D1-D2/1> in which the two adjacent nitrogen atoms are components of a heterocyclic ring and R is a lower alkyl radical with 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical. 1 mol of the hydrazine derivative per mol of active oxygen in the peroxidic compound is preferably used. Suitable hydrazine derivatives are N-acetylmaleic hydrazide, N-propionylmaleic-hydrazide, N-benzoyl maleic hydrazide, N-acetyl phthalic hydrazide, N-benzoylphthalic hydrazide, 1-phenyl-3, 5-diimino tetra acetyl-1,2,4-triazolidine, diacetyl-3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, N-acetyl-triazole, diacetyl urazole, 1-acetyl-3-methylpyrazol-5-one, diacetyl indazolone and triacetyl-3-ureido-5-phenyl-triazole. The composition may also contain soaps, synthetic detergents, e.g. lauryl, myristyl or cetyl sulphate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate and water glass. |
