CONNECTOR FOR TEMPORARY POWER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly detect voltage on the spot even with a connection box or a power cable at the end of a temporary distribution system, and to accurately judge a voltage application state on the spot even if multiple temporary power cables are congested for avoiding misunderstanding the voltage application state.

SOLUTION: A columnar or annular detection electrode 4 is embedded in an insulating part 2 of a connector for an electrostatically coupled state with a conductor 1 of the connector. Part of the detection electrode 4 is exposed, and an opening/closing lid 5 is provided which always stops part of the exposed detection electrode 4 and is grounded. A discharge indicator may be provided near the detection electrode so that a voltage induced at the detection electrode is inputted in the discharge indicator for displaying voltage application.
