Each car using the system has its own parking time writer. When it comes off the street into the parking area it passes an impulse barrier (Pos.5) at the entrance. It passes a further impulse barrier (Pos.6), and an impulse barrier with a data reader (Pos.9) on the way to the parking areas. There is a barrier (Pos.2,Pos.8) at the entrance to each parking area. Cars leaving the car park pass one impulse barrier (Pos.4) on the way out to the street.
