PURPOSE: To provide an oil absorptive sheet for a fixing section capable of absorbing oil in a manner as not to generate oil stripes in spite of fixing of toners to objects to be fixed of different sizes, an oil absorptive member for the fixing section and an oil absorption device for the fixing section using the same. CONSTITUTION: This oil absorptive sheet is formed by adhering powder to a fiber sheet consisting of fibers having an average fiber diameter (in terms of circular section) of <=10μm. One of the oil absorptive members for the fixing section is formed by wounding the oil absorptive sheet for the fixing section on a shaft and the other end of the oil absorptive sheet for the fixing section is fixed to another shaft. The other oil absorptive member for the fixing section is formed to a roll form by positioning the oil absorptive sheet for the fixing section on at least its front surface. The oil absorption device for the fixing section has a mechanism to bring the oil absorptive sheet for the fixing section of the oil absorptive members for the fixing section into contact with a fixing roll or press roll. |
