PURPOSE: A switching device for electronic instrument is provided to reduce the length of key button by using a key holder including a load transfer member as a medium to perform a switching operation. CONSTITUTION: A switching device for electronic instrument includes a key button(120) and a key holder(140). The key button(120) is inserted into an insertion hole of an external housing of the electronic instrument. The key holder(140) is installed in the inside of the electronic instrument. The key holder(140) is connected to the key button(120) in order to switch a tact switch, which is installed on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(160) of the electronic instrument. The key holder includes a load transfer member, a fixing frame, and a tension rib. The load transfer member is installed between the key button(120) and the tact switch to transfer the load of the key button to the tact switch. The tension rib is used for fixing and supporting the load transfer member to the fixing frame.
