PURPOSE: A device and a method for operating a will box are provided to make a user personally store a document and an article to a position set by a server, and to output the storing article through on/offline on a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION: Many rooms(600) recognized by control of a controller of a main server(500) are installed. A door(621) and a document storing locker(631) operated by a key lock(620) and a locker key(630) are installed to each room. Each room comprises a monitor(650) displaying a program offered from the server, an ARS(Automatic Response Service) system(640) for recording the will contents instantly, an audio device(670) recording the will contents in a tape simultaneously with the ARS system, a keyboard(660) for selecting the program displayed to the monitor, a room controller(615), and a LAN(Local Area Network) card(610) communication with the main server.
