PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinazolone derivative having an NF-κB activation-inhibiting activity, and to provide a medicine which contains the derivative as an active ingredient and can be used as a medicine for treating autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases, viral diseases and cancers. SOLUTION: This NF-κB activation inhibitor contains a quinazolone derivative represented by the general formula (I) [R<SP>1</SP>is OR<SP>2</SP>(R<SP>2</SP>is a substituted or un-substituted 1 to 6C alkyl, a substituted or un-substituted 2 to 6C alkenyl, a substituted or un-substituted 2 to 6C alkynyl, a substituted or un-substituted aryl, a substituted or un-substituted aralkyl, or a substituted or un-substituted heteroarylalkyl), a substituted or un-substituted aryl, or a substituted or un-substituted heteroalkyl] or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
