PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film-releasing composition not regulated by the Ordinance on the Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning of Occupational Health and Safety Law, PRTR (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register) Law, and Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law. SOLUTION: This releasing agent composition is characterized by comprising the following components (A) to (D): (A) 30 to 50 wt. % of a polar aprotic solvent, (B) 30 to 60 wt. % of an aromatic solvent, (C) 1 to 10 wt. % of a cellulosic thickener, and (D) 3 to 10 wt. % of an amine. Since not being a conventional composition containing a chlorinated solvent as a main component, the releasing agent composition does not accompany the occurrence of an environmental pollution and the deterioration of a working environment, and has a more satisfactory coating film-releasing power than those of recent coating film-releasing agents not using chlorinated solvents.
