PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass vessel provided with a thick part for keeping the center of gravity low to facilitate the take-out of contents or decoration and a manufacturing method of the glass vessel by which the glass vessel provided with the thick part is efficiently obtained. SOLUTION: The glass vessel provided with the thick part on the bottom of the glass vessel to keep the center of gravity lower by using a molding die for molding molten glass and a projecting baffle for molding the molten glass integrally with the molding die in combination and a recessed part in the thick part is manufactured.
