PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air/fuel ratio control device of an internal combustion engine capable of increasing emission characteristics by accurately controlling an air/fuel ratio to a target air/fuel ratio by surely compensating a fuel injection amount in a period in which residual evaporated fuel (evaporated fuel purged to an intake system after purge-cut) affects the air/fuel ratio. SOLUTION: The transport delay period CPGDLYRX of the evaporated fuel is calculated (S304) based on an engine speed NE. A target purge compensating coefficient KAFEVACZ as the target value of the compensation item of the fuel injection amount is calculated based on parameters (QPGC (k-CPGDLYRX), KAFEVRT (k-CPGDLYRX)) before the transport delay period CPGDLYRX (S306 to S310).
