PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller, lighter, less costly and highly reliable reversible pump and a smaller, less noisy and less costly dishwasher using the pump and having superior washing performance. SOLUTION: The reversible pump 1 has a pump part 2 partitioned into a normal rotation pump chamber 10 and a reverse rotation pump chamber 20. The normal rotation pump chamber 10 and the reverse rotation pump chamber 20 each have a suction port and a discharge port. A fixed shaft 51 is provided in the reverse rotation pump chamber 20. A ring stator 31 exists on the outer periphery of the fixed shaft 51, a rotor is arranged on the outer periphery of the stator 31 rotatably relative to the fixed shaft 51, and a reverse rotation impeller 25 is formed integrally with the rotor. A normal rotation impeller 15 is rotatably arranged on the fixed shaft 51 in the normal rotation pump chamber 10. The stator 31 and the rotor constitute an outer rotor type motor.
