PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for rewriting a program of a disk storage device and to easily execute the operation. SOLUTION: When the disk storage device receives a program transfer command issued by a host system (step 502), a new program designated by the command is written to a disk medium (step 503), and command processing is finished.
