PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily search for aggregate views in a two-dimensional aggregate data tabular format by simply selecting a button without requiring knowledge or techniques regarding MDB or multidimensional processing functions nor having to develop a dedicated application system. SOLUTION: Aggregate key items 32a, 32b and 32c for fields of view, rows, and columns, are connected to obtain multidimensional aggregate key items 36. One of the dimensional aggregate key items of source data is coordinated with one of the aggregate key items for fields of view, rows, and columns, and all the combinations of their coordinations are used to determine the data arrangement of the multidimensional aggregate key items. Unique data values of the multidimensional aggregate key items are stored in the aggregate key items for fields of view, rows and columns. Numerical data of numerical items are aggregated for each unique data value of the multidimensional aggregate key items and stored in the numerical aggregate items 34a, 34b, whereby the multidimensional aggregation process of the source data is performed in a single pass by the use of the multidimensional aggregate key items.
