PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of conveyor rollers which convey a photosensitive material after being exposed. SOLUTION: While the photosensitive material L cut to a size which is large enough to expose a plurality of images is conveyed by a first exposure part roller 34 and a second exposure part roller 36, an exposure head 32 exposes the photosensitive material L in its horizontal scanning direction. Then the photosensitive material L is carried while exposed to reach a conveyor roller 38. In this case, the conveyor roller 38 is released from a nip state, so the photosensitive material L being exposed does not rush in a nip part of the conveyor roller 38. Consequently, exposure unevenness due to vibration applied to the photosensitive material L during the exposure can be prevented. Further, the photosensitive material is long enough in the conveying direction to expose a plurality of images, so the distance between the second exposure part roller 36 and conveyor roller 38 can be made long to decrease the number of conveyor rollers 38.
