FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on use of lifting force of flying vehicle having at least two control surfaces (68,70) which form may pairs of vortices. Proposed method includes deviation of control surfaces for forming and amplifying destabilizing effect of one or several mechanisms, viz. Of progressing transient process, short-wave destabilization, long-wave destabilization and Krow destabilizing effect which cause fast breaking of trailing vortices. Method includes also selection of check parameters in active system of breaking trailing vortices and revealing of vortex formations in immediate proximity of behind flying vehicle, as well as selection of at least one destabilizing effect amplifying mechanism, determination of amplitude and length of waves for artificial forming of perturbation, simulation of natural evolution of trailing vortices, estimation of efficiency of perturbation, determination of vortex position as function of deviation of rudders and parameters of deviation of control surfaces on flying vehicle wing.
