TIRE/WHEEL ASSEMBLY AND RIGID BODY CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire/wheel assembly and a rigid body core capable of improving rim assembling workability. SOLUTION: In the tire/wheel assembly, an annular rigid body core 3 supporting a pneumatic tire 2 on a rim 1 during run-flat travelling is arranged in the hollow part 2A of the pneumatic tire 2 mounted to the rim 1. The rigid body core 3 is constituted of a core main body 7 having a cylindrical base part 4 and a supporting part 6 protruding in an annular shape on the outer peripheral surface 4a of the base part 4, and lateral elastic rings 8, 8 arranged on both end 4c sides of the inner peripheral surface 4b of the base part 4 and supporting the core main body 7 on the rim 1.
