PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device capable of finely and uniformly atomizing a liquid such as fuel even if an ambient environment undergoes a big fluctuation and suppressing increase of power consumption even in a case of being used in an environment wherein ejection of high pressure liquid is required. SOLUTION: The liquid injection device 10 comprises an ejection unit 14 mounted in a liquid injection space 21 formed by an intake pipe 20 and the like of an internal combustion engine, and a pressurizing pump 11 for pressurizing the liquid from a liquid storage tank 22 to a pressure enabling injection of the liquid and feeding the liquid to the injection unit. The injection unit is provided with a chamber having a piezoelectric/electrostrictive element fixed on a wall thereof, and a plurality of liquid injection nozzles for finely atomizing the liquid supplied by the pump. Almost all forces applied on the element through the wall of the chamber by liquid pressure in the chamber is offset by a reaction force produced by liquid pressure within a reaction force supply room approximately equal to a liquid pressure within the chamber.
