A paper (2) making machine (1) feeds a fiber suspension (3) to a sieve belt (5) with elongated formers (4.1). The suspension is surrendered to the belt by a vortex generator (8) block and jets (11). The vortex (10.i) generator block (14) is esp. an integral plastic unit incorporating a number of passages (9.i). The jet (11) length LD is equal to or greater than 400 mm. The vortex generator block length is pref. equal to or less than 450 mm pref. 300 mm and is made of a plastic which is highly resistant to aggressive chemicals e.g. polyphenyl sulfone, polyether-sulfone, polyethrimide or a polysulfone.
