PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable distribution of alarm information to the entire monitoring rooms in the case a disaster/crime prevention signal is issued in any monitoring area. SOLUTION: A management CPU 23 conducts overall management according to a request from each monitoring room 30a, 30b, .... The monitoring room 30a converts the disaster/crime prevention signal into a serial data by an S/P converter 33, and outputs the converted signal to a control CPU 31. The control CPU 31 reads out alarm information from an alarm table based on the output of the S/P converter 33, and transmits the alarm information to the management CPU 23. The management CPU 23 distributes the alarm information received from the monitoring room 30a, or the alarm information based on the disaster/crime prevention signal input from an S/P converter 24, to the entire monitoring rooms 30a, 30b, .... Each monitoring room 30a, 30b, ... displays a particular monitoring image on a monitor TV 54 according to the distributed alarm information, and also drives a buzzer 39 and an alarm lamp 55.
