PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid danger of pouring a liquid into a wrong chamber because a tank lorry or the like for transporting liquids has two or more chambers. SOLUTION: Light emitted from a light source 2 goes out, through optical fiber 3A, from the vicinity 4A of the leading end of a liquid pour-in means 4, strikes on an identification mark 5 put in the vicinity of a pour-in opening, reflects, and returns to a reading section 1B through optical fiber 3B. Prior to liquid pouring, inputs are supplied to the memory 1A of a control section 1 so as to indicate that, for example, gasoline is poured through the pour-in part having an identification mark 01 and kerosene is poured through the pour-in part having an identification mark 02. Subsequently, light is sent to the identification mark from the light source. Light reflected from the identification mark is returned to the control section, in which a comparison section 1C makes comparison to determine whether the mark matches the identification mark input to the control section. If they match as a result of the comparison, a valve at the root of a hose is opened upon an instruction by a valve control section 1D, so that a liquid is poured in a tank through the pour-in opening. If they don't match, the valve is not opened to inhibit pouring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
