PURPOSE: A seismic isolation device for a cable of a cable-stayed bridge is provided to heighten the safety on use, economical efficiency and durability of a cable. CONSTITUTION: The seismic isolation device for a cable of a cable-stayed bridge contains: clamps(2a,2b) fastened to a cable(1) using a bolt hole(2d) after interposing a rubber packing(2c) and connected to fixed frames(4a,4b) using damper fixing brackets(3a,3b); a damper(5) interposed to the fixed frames(4a,4b); a lower frame(4b) welded with a support(6) and a floor fixing plate(7); and an upper frame(4a) fastened to the lower frame(4b) by bolting up through a fastening bolt hole(4c).
