PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel (for big vehicles in particular) which is excellent in heat radiation performance and can easily cope with the requirement for lightening. SOLUTION: This fly wheel is provided with a wheel body 21 made of cast iron and a heat radiation section 22 which is made of aluminum alloy casting whose coefficient of thermal conductivity is higher than that of the casting iron of the wheel body 21 and is formed in the surface except for the face 25 under going friction with at least the clutch device of the wheel body 21. The wheel body 21 is made of cast iron which includes magnesium of 0.005 to 0.02 weight % and wherein the structure of graphite is formed into a worm-shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
