PURPOSE: A buffer box for thin panel products is provided to protect the panel products like TFT-LCDs or intermediate products from external shocks and thus, to extend life span of the panel products and to reduce logistics costs. CONSTITUTION: The buffer box uses at least three-surface barrier ribs(21,22) for accommodating many thin panel products(P) inside. The buffer box consists of a main body(20) and a cover(30). On the top of the main body(20) is hanging grooves(23,24) in a recessed form. Also, to protect the panel products from external shocks, ribs(25,26) and recessed grooves(28,29) are formed on the outside surface of the main body(20). The cover(30) has projections(33,34) to be fitted into the hanging grooves(23,24). On the top of the cover(30) is a rib(36) for absorbing external shocks.
