PURPOSE: A device for outputting a menu skin of a mobile communication terminal and a method therefor are provided to download a menu skin including various data and images on a PC or a wireless Internet, and to enable a user to display the selected menu skin while outputting menus, thereby implementing personality and aesthetic desire of the user. CONSTITUTION: A menu skin manager(10) downloads a menu skin including various data and images on a PC or a wireless Internet, and stores the downloaded menu skin. A menu skin parser(20) analyzes information on configuration and output of a menu transmitted from the menu skin manager(10). A menu skin driving engine(30) applies the menu skin according to operational procedures and principles of a menu system. A menu system operator(40) operates the menu system applied with the menu skin selected by a user. A top menu system(50) and a sub menu system(60) are operated according to functional classifying systems of manufacturers.
