PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head having such a nozzle shape as the ejection velocity of an ink drop can be prevented from lowering by decreasing flow resistance in the ejecting direction when the size of the liquid drop is reduced furthermore. SOLUTION: The opening surface of a second ejection opening part 10 on the bubbling chamber 11 side has such a shape as the length in the direction parallel with the arranging direction of ejection openings 4 is longer than the length in the direction perpendicular thereto and the opening surface on the side of the ejection opening part has a cross-section congruent with that of the opening surface on the side of the bubbling chamber 11. In the drawing, cross-section of the second ejection opening part 10 is substantially rectangular when it is cut in the direction substantially parallel with the forming surface of a heater 1.
