摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for injecting a large quantity of pulverized coal into a blast furnace by which the pulverized coal can be continuously injected into the blast furnace, the fluctuations in the injection quantity of the pulverized coal injected through a tuyere into the furnace can be suppressed, and the heat variation in the furnace can be prevented to make it possible to use the pulverized coal in a large quantity and attain the stable and low-cost operation of the blast furnace. SOLUTION: In this method for injecting the pulverized coal into the blast furnace, the pulverized coal is temporarily stored in a storage tank 11 and fed into three or more injection tanks 12 to 15. Then gas is supplied and the pulverized coal in the injection tanks 12 to 15 is agitated under pressure, and the pulverized coal is injected together with the gas through the tuyere 16 into the blast furnace 17. While performing the injection of the pulverized coal into the blast furnace 17 from any one of the three or more injection tanks 12 to 15, switching between the start and stop of the injection of the pulverized coal into the blast furnace in the other injection tanks 14 and 15 is carried out.
