Flight path correction device for munition - with control of gas feed to nozzles by slot arrangement for precision correction

Flight path correction device for munition includes several gas outlet nozzles (2, 3, 4) with nozzle inlet bores (5, 6), which can be connected to an axial inflow bore (9) and a radial outflow opening (11) of a rotary body (8) connectable to a gas generator, (7) and rotated by an electric motor (10). The outflow bore is in the form of a slot, inclined to the circumferential direction. Nozzle inlet bore is displaced axially w.r.t. the outflow opening so that it can be progressively overlapped by the opening. ADVANTAGE - Precision corrections can be made to be flight path by use of the slot in place of a circular opening.
