PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced and simple-structured roll blind for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A structure is simplified and a space can be saved in this roll blind 20 for a vehicle by providing a gear 44 in a roll pipe 22, engaging the gear 44 with a driving gear 48 of a motor 46, and arranging the motor 6 near the roll pipe 22. Since friction resistance generated in a driving force transmission system is remarkably reduced by driving the roll pipe 22 by the gear 44, a low-output motor can sufficiently drive the roll pipe 22, and the roll blind 20 for a vehicle can be provided at a low cost. As the driving force transmitting means, an endless transmitting means such as a wire, a belt and a chain can be used in place of the gears 44 and 48. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
