摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system equalizing cooling efficiency in an inlet periphery and an outlet periphery of a cooling medium to a cell of a fuel cell, and decreasing temperature difference on the inside of an electrode of the cell of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with end plates 13i, 13o between which the cell 10 of the fuel cell is interposed and arranged at both ends, through passages 103, 104 passing through the cell 10 of the fuel cell in the interposing direction of the end plates and through which a cooling medium flows, a cooling medium passage 105 connecting the through passages, supply ports 18B, 18A of the through passage installed in the end plate 13i, exhaust ports 19A, 19B of the through passage installed in the end plate 13o, the coolant flow selection means 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B selecting flow or cutting off of the cooling medium in the supply ports 18A, 18B or the exhaust ports 19A, 19B, and a flow control means 9 switching the flow direction of the cooling medium of the cooling medium passage 105 by controlling the coolant flow selection means based on a power generation load of the cell 10 of the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
