PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video composition processing system which can obtain the composite images which a user requires using material video signals created by the user, while broadcast image materials can be utilized. SOLUTION: The video composition processing system comprises a transmitting apparatus to create the video signals of a plurality of image materials, and composition control data for the composition of the image materials, and to broadcast these data; a receiving apparatus to receive data broadcast from the transmitting apparatus and to obtain a plurality of video signals of the image materials and the composition control data; and a photography apparatus to create the image materials on user side. Further, the system comprises a video composition processor to carry out the video composition of the plurality of the image materials selected based on the composition control data to create the video signals from the plurality of the video signals of the image materials and the video signal of the image materials created on user side, and a display device to display the video signals created by carrying out the video composition of the plurality of the image materials by the video composition processor.
