FIELD: food industry; beer bottles. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crystallized neck of polyester beer bottle which has no thread, with length of crystallized part of neck being within 0.5 and 35 mm, and method of its making. To make such crystallized neck, noncrystallized blank of polyester bottle should be kept before crystallization for 24-72 h in conditioned atmosphere. Crystallizer should be heated fro at least two hours, hopper should be charged with non-crystallized blank of polyester bottle and, using belt conveyor, blank should be delivered to blank receiving gear. Then bottle blank neck is fed by rod-type chain to crystallizer for heating at high temperature and crystallization. Non-crystallized body of bottle blank is protected from high temperature by cooling plate. Blank of polyester bottle with crystallized neck is discharged by outlet gear and fed to other belt conveyor for natural cooling and molding. Use of crystallized neck of polyester beer bottle and its manufacture according to proposed method increase heat resistance of neck of polyester beer bottle and provide preservation of initial shape and size at high temperature, thus providing adequate sealing when filling the beer.
