PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute compactly even if the optical path length is lengthened, and resultantly to widen a deflection angle detection range, and to enable highly accurate deflection angle detection. SOLUTION: This deflection angle detection device for detecting the deflection angle of a light deflection element is equipped with a light source for radiating light to the deflection element, a reflecting face 4 for detection arranged on the optical axis of light radiated from the light source and having a positive power provided in the light deflection element, and a photodetector 5 for receiving light reflected by the reflecting face 4 for detection and detecting the deflection angle of the light deflection element by the light receiving position.
