PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shaft supporting device for guiding a moving operation of an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a guide shaft holding member 9 in which a guide shaft supporting part 9b where a supporting hole into which one end of a guide shaft 10 is inserted is formed is disposed and which is fitted to a fixed substrate 1 by tightening a fitting screw 12 to a screw hole formed in the fixed substrate 1, a guide projection which is formed in the guide shaft holding member 9 and which is inserted into the guide hole formed in the fixed substrate 1 and a coil spring inserted into a cylindrical hole formed in the guide shaft holding member 9 so as to be wound to the fitting screw.
