PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication base station system for transmitting a high-quality signal via a line which can be easily installed at low cost between a remote RF device which is installed away from a base station for exchanging RF signals with a mobile communication terminal (MS) and the base station. SOLUTION: The base station system is provided with: a DMU for receiving a signal transmitted from BSC to MS and continuously transmitting a plurality of RRU frames via Ethernet(R) by framing the signal according to a transmission frame format which is a predetermined RRU frame different from a specified format of Ethernet(R); an RRU hub for receiving the RRU frames transmitted from the DMU and distributing the RRU frames via Ethernet(R); and a plurality of RRU for deframing the RRU frames received from the RRU hub, modulating the RRU frames into RF signals and transmitting the RF signals to MS to produce deframed signals.
